Wellbear Flaxseed Oil Cold Pressed is a 100% cold-pressed oil from common flax seeds (Linum usitatissimum), unrefined and unfiltered, produced in a Polish oil press. Its natural yellowish colour and distinctive bittersweet, nutty taste come from the lack of refining. Best drizzled over cold dishes - ideal for discovering this flavour for the first time.
About the product
Wellbear Flaxseed Oil Cold Pressed is a 100% oil from common flax seeds (Linum usitatissimum), cold-pressed in a Polish oil press. The seeds come from domestic crops, and pressing takes place without heating the raw material.
The oil is unrefined and unfiltered, which gives it a yellowish colour, a slightly tart aroma, a bittersweet nutty taste and a natural sediment at the bottom of the bottle - simply shake before use. The shade and intensity of the taste vary between seed batches, which is normal for an unrefined oil. The bottle is dark and thick to limit light exposure.
- 100% flaxseed oil - a single ingredient, pressed in Poland
- Cold-pressed - no heat treatment during production
- Unrefined and unfiltered - hence the colour, taste and natural sediment
- No preservatives or additives

Use
Best drizzled over cold dishes: salads and coleslaws, lemon dressings, cottage cheese or vegetable spreads, boiled potatoes or groats, smoothies and yoghurt. Add to cooked dishes only after they have cooled down. Not suitable for frying or baking - high heat degrades the polyunsaturated fatty acids. Vegan. Not for people with a flax allergy.
How to use
Suggested daily serving: 1 Tablespoon (12 g) - straight from the spoon, stirred into a morning smoothie or yoghurt, or added to a dish just before serving. The slightly bitter aftertaste softens when combined with honey, natural yoghurt or lemon juice, so it is worth starting with a smaller amount. For children over 3 years old, use smaller amounts and consult a paediatrician beforehand. The oil is also sometimes used externally, for skin and hair care.
Storage
Before opening, store in a cool, dark place. After opening, keep refrigerated (4-10°C) and use within one month - flaxseed oil oxidises faster than other vegetable oils under the influence of light, heat and air. Keep the bottle tightly closed.
Ingredients
100% common flax (Linum usitatissimum) seed oil, cold-pressed.
