Wellbear flaxseed oil will help you keep your health in top condition. The oil is natural, unfiltered and unrefined, cold-pressed in a Polish oil mill. It has no preservatives or additives, so it retains its health-promoting properties for up to a month after opening the bottle when you keep it in the refrigerator.

Our linseed oil is produced by pressing meticulously selected seeds of the common flax plant. It has a yellowish colour, a slightly astringent aroma and a slightly bitter, nutty taste, which it owes to the method by which it is obtained, i.e. cold pressing without purification. Unrefined oil retains all the nutritional values of flax seeds, which are very valuable for the body's health. It can be used both internally and externally - on the hair and skin.

What does flaxseed oil contain?

Flaxseed oil contains very large amounts of polyunsaturated fatty acids. The most well-known of these, namely omega 3 and omega 6, are substances involved in the production of hormones, cell building, and the regulation of cholesterol levels. Apart from these, flaxseed oil also contains vitamin E, which not only nourishes the hair and skin, but is also a powerful antioxidant, meaning that it protects our body from oxidative stress and excessive free radicals, thereby slowing down the ageing process and preventing the development of lesions.

How to use flaxseed oil

Flaxseed oil can be consumed directly from a teaspoon or as an addition to various dishes. However, it is worth bearing in mind that it will only retain all its valuable properties if it is permanently stored in the fridge and not subjected to high temperatures during cooking. Adding linseed oil to salads, sandwich pastes, vegetable smoothies or even baked goods will ensure health from within.

Adults are recommended to consume 1 - 3 teaspoons a day. Children and adolescents are free to take even more. Drinking flaxseed oil on an empty stomach before breakfast has the best results, but this is not an absolute rule.
