Mito-Pharma Vitamin C MSE Matrix delivers 500 mg of vitamin C in an extended-release tablet, in a pack designed to last three months. The plant-cellulose matrix spreads the release of L-ascorbic acid over up to 8 hours instead of all at once. Vitamin C dissolves in water and the body cannot store it - any excess from a single large dose is simply excreted. The matrix formula, borrowed from pharmaceutical manufacturing technology, solves this differently than by increasing the dose: the tablet releases L-ascorbic acid gradually, over up to 8 hours, thanks to a matrix built from plant cellulose.

One tablet contains 500 mg of vitamin C in the form of L-ascorbic acid - enough for three months of daily use. The formula is vegan and free from gluten, milk protein, lactose, soy, yeast and gelatin. The recipe was developed in the German MSE laboratory of Dr. Franz Enzmann, manufactured in Germany to GMP standard.

Ingredients

L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, glazing agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol; starch, anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide.

Directions for use

1 tablet daily, preferably with a meal, taken with an adequate amount of water. Vitamin C should not be taken on an empty stomach.

Tablets must not be crushed - this would destroy the matrix responsible for the gradual release. If needed, it can be split in half along the marked score line.

Do not take the tablet with hot beverages, alcohol or milk.

Contraindications

Not to be used by people with kidney stones or those predisposed to forming kidney stones.
