Wellbear Hemp Oil Cold Pressed is a 100% hemp seed oil (Cannabis sativa), cold-pressed in a small Polish manufactory. Hemp is a food crop, not psychoactive - the oil is pressed from its seeds, not the flowers.

The oil is unrefined and unfiltered, which gives it a golden-green color, a bold nutty flavor with a herbal note, and a small natural sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Shake before use. The bottle is dark and thick to limit light exposure.

Best used for

An oil for dishes served cold: salads, dressings with lemon and honey, cottage cheese spreads, pesto, and drizzling over cooked vegetables or chilled soups. Also good on wholegrain bread instead of butter, with coarse salt and pepper. Add to cooked dishes only after they have cooled down. Not suitable for frying or baking - high heat degrades the polyunsaturated fats. Vegan.

Suggested use

1 tablespoon (12 g) a day - straight from the spoon, stirred into morning yogurt or a smoothie, or added to a dish just before serving. Because of its bold flavor, start with a smaller amount. The oil can also be used externally for skin and hair care.

Storage

Store in a cool, dark place before opening. After opening, keep refrigerated (4-10 degrees C) and use within a month - unrefined oil oxidizes when exposed to light, heat, and air. Keep the bottle tightly closed.
