Sadvit Treacle Sea Buckthorn 100% - 240 ml

Sadvit Sea Buckthorn Juice 100% is NFC (not from concentrate) cold-pressed juice containing only sea buckthorn fruit. Pasteurised, without added sugar or flavour enhancers. Sea buckthorn is characterised by its slightly acidic taste, but is ideal as an addition to tea, juices, cocktails or wines.

Sea buckthorn is a strongly branching shrub native to the hinterland of Russia, now also found in Poland. Due to its yellow-orange fruit, it is referred to as the 'gold of Siberia'. Sea buckthorn helps treat inflammation of the digestive tract and contains quite a lot of vitamin C and flavonoids. As a result, it exhibits antioxidant effects, i.e. delaying the onset of ageing processes.

Sea buckthorn juice has a slightly sour taste, but is great as an addition to tea, cocktails, syrups, tinctures and even wines.

Approximately 1.7 kg of fruit/vegetables are used to produce 1 l of juice. This means that there are more than 400 g of fruit in a 240 ml bottle!

The juice contains only the natural sugars found in fruit, but has a low glycaemic index, so that the sugar is absorbed in smaller quantities than, for example, from artificial fizzy drinks.
