Elderberry juice has a slightly sour taste, but is great as an addition to tea, cocktails, syrups, tinctures and even wines.

Approximately 1.7kg of fruit/vegetables are used to produce 1l of juice. This means that there are more than 400 g of fruit in a 250 ml bottle!

The juice contains only the natural sugars found in the fruit, but has a low glycaemic index, so that the sugar is absorbed in smaller quantities than, for example, from artificial fizzy drinks.
