Bilovit Cold-pressed Sunflower Oil is 100% sunflower seed oil (Helianthus annuus) – unfiltered, unrefined, cold-pressed in a Polish oil mill. Free from chemical additives, colourings and preservatives.

An exceptionally light, straw-coloured hue and a delicate, mild sunflower aroma. The nutritional table is dominated by polyunsaturated fatty acids (72 g/100 g) – a very high proportion of linoleic acid (omega-6), typical of sunflower oil.

Usage

Oil for cold dishes: a base for salad dressings, homemade pesto, mayonnaise, and an addition to raw vegetable salads. Its mild flavour complements any type of dish. Not suitable for frying – unrefined oil has a low smoke point and degrades at high temperatures. Vegan.

Directions for use

Salad dressing: 3 tablespoons of oil + 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice + salt, pepper. Homemade pesto: base for basil, garlic, pine nuts, Parmesan. Salads: 1 tablespoon (12 g) per salad. Directly from a teaspoon – 1–3 teaspoons per day.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from light. Use within a few months of opening. Keep the bottle tightly closed.
