About the product

Ziółko Lemon Balm is a dried infusion made from the leaves of lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), an aromatic perennial plant from the Lamiaceae family. The plant originates from the Mediterranean region and is now also cultivated in Poland. The characteristic lemon aroma of the leaves has meant that lemon balm has been a staple in the home pantry for generations.

Lemon balm tea has a delicate, lemony-herbal flavour and a pale golden colour – it tastes good both hot and chilled. As well as in tea, lemon balm leaves are excellent in the kitchen: as a refreshing addition to lemonade, fruit-infused water, desserts, fruit salads and soft drinks.

Intended use

Directions for use

Pour 200 ml of hot water over 1–2 teaspoons of the dried leaves, cover and steep for 5–10 minutes, then strain. The leaves can also be added to lemonade and other drinks.

Storage

Store in a dry, cool place in a tightly sealed container – protect from light, moisture and foreign odours.
