Ziółko Hop Cones are dried female flower clusters of the common hop plant (Humulus lupulus) - a climbing vine in the hemp family, found growing wild across Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Sourced in Poland, these cones are best known as the ingredient that gives beer its characteristic bitterness.

The surface of the cones is coated with sticky lupulin - a yellowish resin with an intensely bitter, resinous aroma. It is this lupulin that gives hops their distinctive scent and flavour. In herbal tradition, dried hop cones are brewed as an evening infusion, often paired with lemon balm and valerian.
