Ziółko Dried Wild Garlic consists of 100% dried wild garlic leaves (Allium ursinum) – a plant that grows wild in the deciduous forests of Europe. Polish origin. Unlike common garlic, it has a delicate garlicky flavour without an unpleasant aroma when eaten – very convenient for everyday cooking.
It enhances the flavour of delicate dishes very well: cottage cheese with chives, scrambled eggs, egg spreads and vegetable salads. It works brilliantly in soups (tomato, vegetable, cucumber) and as an ingredient in herb butter. It can be used to make aromatic olive oil for drizzling over salads or wild garlic pesto (instead of basil pesto).

Uses
A seasoning for dishes with a delicate flavour: cottage cheese with chives, egg spreads, scrambled eggs, omelettes, vegetable salads, soups (tomato, cucumber, vegetable), herb butter, pasta pesto, flavoured olive oil. A great alternative to fresh parsley, dill or chives.
Directions for use
Add at the end of cooking (dried leaves release their aroma quickly) or directly to cold dishes. Typical serving: 1/2 - 1 teaspoon per 4 portions of the dish. For quark: mix 1 teaspoon per 250 g of quark with a pinch of salt. For herb butter: mix 2 teaspoons with 100 g of soft butter and lemon. It goes well with dill, parsley, chives and pepper.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in a dry, dark place, protected from light, moisture and foreign odours.
