Vitaler's Pomegranate 500 mg - 60 Capsules

Vitaler's Pomegranate is a capsule supplement with pomegranate fruit peel extract (Punica granatum) at a 10:1 ratio. Each capsule contains 500 mg of extract, standardised to ellagic acid. The capsule shell is plant-based, so the product is suitable for vegans.

About the product

The pomegranate is a small tree native to the region from Iran to northern India, now grown throughout the Mediterranean climate. The extract is made from the fruit peel, not the juice or seeds, because the peel is richest in polyphenols, including ellagitannins. Ellagic acid is a phenolic acid polyphenol that also occurs in raspberries, strawberries and nuts. The 10:1 ratio means the extract is made from roughly ten times as much dried raw material.
