Vitaler's OPC (Pine Bark) 420 mg - 60 Capsules

Vitaler's OPC (Pine Bark) is a food supplement with Masson pine bark extract (Pinus massoniana) standardised to 95% oligomeric proanthocyanidins, in short OPC. One capsule provides 420 mg of extract, which means 400 mg of OPC. The only ingredients are the extract and a plant-based capsule shell, and the product is suitable for vegans.

About the product

Masson pine is a tree from southern and central China, one of the most common pine species in that country. Proanthocyanidins are polyphenols built from linked catechin molecules; oligomeric forms consist of several such units. They give a tart, astringent taste and in the diet occur in, among others, grape seeds, chokeberries, cocoa and apples.
