Ginkgo is a living fossil: the only surviving species of a group of plants that already existed more than 200 million years ago. It comes from China and is widely planted in parks and along streets. It has distinctive fan-shaped leaves, often notched into two lobes, which gave it the name biloba. The extract is made from the leaves and is standardised to two groups of compounds.

Standardised ginkgo biloba extract (24% flavonoid glycosides, 6% terpene lactones), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose).
