Vitaler's Lion's Mane 500 mg - 60 Capsules

Vitaler's Lion's Mane capsules contain extract from the fruiting bodies of lion's mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus), named for its long, hanging spines. Each capsule provides 500 mg of extract standardised to 40% polysaccharides, which is 200 mg. The only other ingredient is a plant-based capsule shell, and the product is suitable for vegans.

About the product

Lion's mane grows on old, weakened broadleaf trees, most often beech and oak. Instead of gills it has soft white spines that hang like icicles or a mane. The lion's mane sold commercially is cultivated. In Asian cuisine it is valued for a delicate taste often compared to seafood.

The extract is standardised to 40% polysaccharides, so every batch has the same content of these compounds: 200 mg per capsule. The label lists polysaccharides in total, without separating out beta-glucans. Country of origin: Poland.
