Vitaler's Digestive Enzymes - 60 Capsules

Vitaler's Digestive Enzymes are capsules with the DigeZyme complex, a blend of five enzymes: alpha-amylase, cellulase, lipase, lactase and protease. Each capsule also contains 200 mg of betaine hydrochloride and two plant enzymes: bromelain from pineapple and papain from papaya. Take one capsule 30 minutes before the main meal. Suitable for vegans.

About the product

Enzymes are proteins that speed up chemical reactions, and the name of each one tells you what it breaks down: amylase starch (Latin amylum), protease proteins, lipase fats, lactase milk sugar and cellulase cellulose. Bromelain comes from pineapple stems, papain from the milky latex of papaya fruit. Enzyme amounts are given in activity units rather than milligrams, which is why the table shows different units.
