Vitaler's Chaga Mushroom 500 mg - 60 Capsules

Vitaler's Chaga Mushroom 500 mg is a capsule with chaga extract (Inonotus obliquus), a fungus that forms black growths on birch trunks. Each capsule contains 500 mg of extract standardised to 40% polysaccharides, which is 200 mg. The only ingredients are the extract and a plant-based capsule shell, and the product is suitable for vegans.

About the product

Chaga does not look like a typical mushroom. On a birch trunk it forms a hard, black, cracked growth that resembles burnt wood, while the inside is rusty brown. It grows in the cool forests of the northern hemisphere, in Russia, Scandinavia and Canada, and rarely in Poland as well. In Siberia and Finland it has long been brewed into an infusion drunk instead of tea. The extract is standardised to 40% polysaccharides, so every batch has the same content of these complex sugars, which is 200 mg in one capsule. The label lists polysaccharides together, without separating out beta-glucans.

Country of origin: Poland.
