Tickless Kid Pro is an ultrasonic tick protection device designed specifically for young children. A new model with a rechargeable battery (allows for about 300 charge cycles). A fully charged battery powers the device for about 7-14 days. Provides an effective wide area of protection within a radius of as much as approx. 2,5 m. Its effectiveness has been confirmed by laboratory tests. Ne contains chemicals, it is 100% safe. The device does not come with a wristband. Comes with a microUSB charging cable.

Tickless Kid Pro is designed for children over the age of 3. This device sends out 40 kHz ultrasound, which does not harm humans or pets, but confuses ticks by blocking their main sensory organ, the Haller organ, used to detect the host. When a tick comes within range of the ultrasound emitted by TICKLESS, it becomes confused and is unable to detect its prey.

For maximum protection, remember:

• Check the activity of the device periodically (the LED should blink visibly when the button is pressed)
• Once the TICKLESS is removed, the user is not protected, so we recommend:
  
  • check the environment where you are without TICKLESS (ticks may have been there before, especially if you have a dog or cat)
  • checking you every time you return home for ticks that may have accidentally been on you
  • using Tickless Home, for protection against ticks in the home
• Protection is not effective when Tickless is wet - remember to let the device dry when you get home.

Switching on / off

The device can be turned off with a quick press of the button three times, and turned on with a single long press. Successful switching off is indicated by a green/red light flashing twice, switching on by a red or green light flashing four times, depending on the charge level.

You can check its operation at any time by pressing the button once. 4 flashes of the green LED indicate that the device is charged, and 4 flashes of the red LED indicate that the device's charge is below 30% and needs to be recharged. When the battery reaches a critical level, the device shuts down.

Battery, charging

The device has a polymer lithium-ion battery. It has no memory effect. It will allow about 300 charging cycles. To charge the device, connect it to the charger via the microUSB cable (included with the device, charger not included). When the battery is charged - the LED on the device lights up. When the LED goes out, it means that the battery is fully charged. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge a fully discharged battery. To protect battery life, always keep the device fully charged and turned off when not in use.
