TickLess Horse Ultrasonic Tick Repellent - Brown

Tickless Horse is an ultrasonic device to protect against ticks and fleas for horses. It is chemical free and provides protection for 6-12 months, within a radius of approximately 2 metres. It is completely safe for puppies, pregnant animals and senior animals to use.

The device emits ultrasonic pulses at 40 kHz.

The pulses block the Haller organ in ticks, which they use to target their host. When the Haller organ remains blocked, ticks are unable to hunt effectively. The ultrasound emitted by TickLess is inaudible and completely harmless to humans and pets.

TickLess also affects fleas, which have a similar sensory organ to ticks. The effective area of protection is a radius of approximately 2 m. It is completely safe and harmless to humans (including pregnant women, young children, people with pacemakers, etc.) and pets and farm animals.

Use:

• Mount the device at the headboard or saddle, do not cover the device (ultrasound should be able to propagate freely
• Remove the pin to activate the device, the LED will then blink, the device will be on, the device cannot be switched off
• The device lasts approximately 6-12 months
• Moisture does not damage the device (IP13) - however, direct contact with water should be avoided as TickLess is not waterproof.

TickLess Horse is designed for large animals (e.g. horse or pony).

Specification

Battery: Single-use, non-replaceable battery. Once the battery is depleted, the device does not protect against ticks and is not suitable for further use.

Longevity: at least 6 months.

Power supply: To check battery charge: press the button, the LED behind the grille should flash brightly 4 times - if not, replace the unit with a new one.

Range operation: 3 m radius.

Startup, shutdown: Pull the pin. The device remains active for approximately at least 6 months (it cannot be switched off).

In case of dampness or wetness: Leave the device to dry in an airy place (you can assist the process with a mechanical air supply).
