The Philips Avent Ultra Air soother has a shield with very large holes. They are what lets air flow around a baby's delicate facial skin and keeps the skin under the soother dry. During long sucking sessions, moisture can irritate the skin around the mouth, and good ventilation limits that.

How to use

Before first use, sterilise the soother in the case provided: pour water up to the marked level, place the soothers inside, close the lid and put it in the microwave for 3 minutes. Let the case cool down, pour out the water and dry it. Then give the soother to your baby and let them latch on by themselves. Check from time to time that the skin under the shield stays dry and clean.

Cleaning and care
