Ghee is a lactose-free clarified butter whose recipe dates back to ancient India. Clarified ghee butter can be used extensively in cooking - it brings out the deep flavour of dishes, highlights the aromas of spices, and combines flavours in dishes
Ghee is a traditional Indian recipe for making butter, and can be used widely in cooking.
It is suitable for frying (it does not burn), cooking (for soups, stewing vegetables and meats, reheating), baking (instead of unhealthy margarine), sandwiching (instead of regular butter).
Clarified ghee butter is also used in cosmetics - thanks to its amazing properties it is used in massages, skin and hair masks, for cleansing, as a cream.
Properties:
- 100% milk fat,
- contains no gluten, casein or lactose - a good alternative for people with
- intolerances to these,
- does not burn, has a high smoke point of 260 C⁰,
- contains vitamins A, D, E, K,
- does not contain bad cholesterol,
- comes from the Bieszczady region from the milk of Polish cows,
- made using the traditional method, clarified for 8 to 12 hours (depending on the
- season, i.e. what the cows eat - grass or hay),
- contains no preservatives, thickeners or colourings.
Note: The white precipitate is the result of natural processes.
Ingredients:
Milk fat, natural flavouring of vanilla, cinnamon and cardamom.
Storage:
Store at room temperature. The consistency is semi-liquid in summer, more compact in winter - this does not affect the quality of the product.
