Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) - commonly known as absinth or wormwood, is a plant belonging to the asteraceae family with pinnate leaves and bright yellow inflorescences. The raw material is the wormwood herb, which is rich in numerous glycosides, coumarin compounds, a volatile oil containing thujone, artemisinin (a flavonoid) and a whole range of other important bioactive substances. A very bitter herb that intensively stimulates digestive processes and intestinal and liver function. Cleanses from fungi, parasites and worms.
