Red clay cleanses and prevents the bursting of blood vessels. Frost, cold wind, sunlight and genetics promote the appearance of tiny red blood vessels just below the skin's surface - resulting in unsightly red ‘threads’ that over time form a visible mesh.
Cracked capillaries are a serious aesthetic defect, the daily masking of which is an arduous process, and inadequate care results in the appearance of rosacea. It is much more beneficial to strengthen the skin's structure (thus preventing the appearance of further capillaries) and to ensure that already visible capillaries fade and are no longer visible.
Vascular skin is the skin type most at risk of developing rosacea - prolonged exposure of sensitive skin can result in serious consequences. Visible spider veins on the skin's surface are dilated blood vessels that cannot cope with shrinking and dilating.
Acne rosacea usually appears in women around the age of 35 and is often a consequence of inadequate care of vascular skin. Rosacea is characterised by visible spider veins, swellings, pimples and pustules, and over time, pink flushes begin to form on the face - mainly on the cheeks, chin, nose and between the eyebrows.
It gently cleanses the skin by removing dead skin, allowing the skin to regenerate and strengthen faster. Nourished skin is more resistant to external factors and its outer layer absorbs the active ingredients of natural cosmetics much better. Regular use (2-3 times a week) of clay masks makes the skin smoother, better oxygenated and ages more slowly.
How to use:
Mix a small amount of red clay with lukewarm water and apply to the face and décolleté.
A few drops of natural oils can be added to the mask, which are great for the skin's defence functions - e.g. argan oil, which is excellent for skin regeneration and supports anti-inflammatory processes.
The mask should be left on the face until completely dry, but not less than 10-15 minutes; in case the clay dries too quickly before this time, gently moisten the clay on the face with a damp cloth or sponge. The mask should be gently washed off the face with lukewarm water and, for oily and combination skin, a gentle exfoliating massage can be added. The clay mask should be used regularly - about twice a week.
