Description
Product ideal for everyone and for everything. This is how coconut oil can be described. Referred to as a "superfood", it will prove its worth not only in the kitchen, but also in cosmetics. Universal in care and miraculous in action.
Coconut oil is mainly composed of saturated fatty acids. The lauric acid and caprylic acid contained in it have antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal effects. In addition, linoleic acid affects skin hydration, rebuilds the epidermal lipid barrier and reduces excessive sebum secretion.
The most popular of oils - a natural "must have"
Thanks to the properties of the fatty acids present in coconut oil, it finds its way into cosmetics for the face and entire body. Provides a powerful dose of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Recommended especially for people with dry and dehydrated skin. Applied directly to the skin, it intensively moisturises, nourishes and regenerates excessively dry areas of the skin. It also improves the condition of acne-prone skin, skin with rashes or ringworm. It moisturises and lubricates affected areas, thus helping to combat psoriasis, eczema or atopy. It also soothes irritations, insect bites, redness or inflammation. It is ideal as a post-depilatory cream.
The anti-wrinkle properties of coconut oil and the antioxidants it contains make it a frequent ingredient in anti-age creams. Coconut oil is also an excellent UV filter and is used as a replacement of SPF 10 cream. It is also used for make-up removal. As it is gentle and non-sensitizing, it is suitable for the care of children and babies. Thanks to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties, it fastens the healing of hard-to-heal wounds.
Applications:
Coconut oil has almost unlimited uses. His properties are appreciated in practically every area of life. Applied to hair, body, hands and feet, it will improve the condition of our entire body.
Applied directly from the container as a face cream - it will moisturise our skin and allow us to get rid of imperfections and discolourations (people with acne-prone skin should apply the oil in spots, or 2 - 3 times a week on the whole face. Daily use in the morning and evening can cause clogging).
It is great as a bath oil (add a few drops of melted coconut oil to the water before bathing). In hair care, we can use it as a regenerating hair mask. It will also work well for the recently popular oiling of the hair method. The oil is rubbed into the hair dry and left for a few hours. After this ritual, everything is thoroughly washed out with shampoo. We can combine it with salt - then we create our own homemade body scrub. (It is better, however, to choose a scrub that we have created ourselves - an organic, beautifully scented one with coconut shavings created from the unrefined oil version).
In our daily care, we can use the oil as a specific for demake-up. It will even remove waterproof mascara. To moisturise and firm your body and get rid of cellulite and stretch marks, use coconut oil as a body lotion - morning and evening. In winter, it is perfect as a protective face cream, and in summer, as a suntan lotion or to soothe irritation after sunbathing. Rubbed into the cuticles of your nails - it will soften and moisturise them.
INCI:
Coconut oil - refined.
The oil at lower temperatures is in the form of a solid, compact, white paste. Above 23 degrees it changes to liquid form. The refined version is 30% poorer in nutrients and lacks the natural aroma of coconut.
