About the product

The CP-1 line from Korean brand Esthetic House is built around keratin, and this essence is its simplest, everyday expression. Apply it to the ends after washing and leave it in - it's a daily finishing step, not an intensive treatment. The same line also includes the CP-1 3 Seconds Hair Fill-Up, which is mixed with water, left under a cap and rinsed out. This essence is its lighter, everyday complement, not a replacement for it.

The formula is led by hydrolyzed keratin, supported by elastin, hydrolyzed collagen, wheat proteins and keratin amino acids. Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis) adds softness, and steartrimonium chloride eases detangling. Extracts of Japanese kelp (Laminaria japonica), licorice, soy, sesame, rice, eggplant and baobab round out the plant-based part. The silicone-free claim checks out against the ingredient list - there isn't a single one in it.
