Currant Soap with its deep blackberry colour is reminiscent of ripe fruit plucked straight from a bush somewhere in a shady forest. The ground blackcurrant seeds give it a juicy, sweet and sour aroma and gentle scrubbing properties, while the geranium oil adds a cool tang and freshness.

This soap will appeal to fans of unobvious, distinctive and slightly woodsy scents. It will also be an excellent choice for those who do not like excessively sharp exfoliating particles - the ones contained in it are delicate enough to successfully deal with dead skin, without, however, excluding this soap as a cosmetic for everyday use.

Properties:

• Coconut oil - helps to maintain the skin's optimum moisture level, enhances its elasticity and improves its firmness. It also exhibits anti-bacterial and anti-ageing effects.
• Shea butter - nourishes and regenerates the skin. Thanks to vitamins A and E, it protects the skin against free radicals, which slows down the ageing process, and also creates a natural barrier against harmful atmospheric agents. It is non-sensitizing and, thanks to vitamin A, additionally soothes allergic lesions and exhibits healing properties.
• Olive oil - is a rich source of antioxidants, so it helps to maintain the youth, firmness and vitality of the skin, and is also a natural UV filter. It leaves it taut, soft and smooth, and the vitamin F contained in it prevents excessive moisture loss from the epidermis.
• Castor oil - has an antibacterial, disinfectant and soothing effect on various types of irritation. It alleviates excessive dryness and is helpful in fighting skin diseases and inflammation.
• Blackcurrant seeds - in addition to their natural exfoliating properties, ground blackcurrant seeds have the effect of sustaining skin hydration, soothing irritation, regenerating and preventing premature skin ageing. The vitamin B and mineral salts contained in the currants have purifying, antibacterial and toning effects invaluable in the care of oily, combination and acne-prone skin. Vitamin C has a brightening effect and rutin (i.e. vitamin P) helps to seal blood vessels - so it may appeal to those with vascular skin.
• Geranium oil - has antibacterial, antiseptic, antiviral and antifungal properties. It has a tonic effect, improves blood and lymph circulation and soothes inflammation.

How to use:

Put the cube under a stream of water, soap a few times in the palms of your hands to create foam and cleanse the skin all over your body with it. Alternatively, you can use the cube directly on your skin - in which case you will benefit from its exfoliating properties.
