COSRX The Retinol 0.5 Oil - 20 ml

COSRX The Retinol 0.5 Oil contains 0.5% pure stable retinol, which provides a powerful anti-ageing action. Vegetable squalene protects the skin from negative external influences, while vitamin E reduces skin damage and enhances the anti-ageing effect of the formula. The oil is recommended for skin already accustomed to the use of retinol.

Retinol, a derivative of vitamin A, is one of the most well-known and effective ingredients used in skincare products. Its action on the skin is multifaceted

• It stimulates the production of collagen, which is responsible for the skin's firmness and elasticity. As a result, it can help smooth fine lines and wrinkles and improve the overall texture of the skin.
  
• Has a brightening effect, helping to reduce skin discolouration caused by the sun, acne or skin ageing.
  
• It can help reduce the appearance of pores by regulating sebum production and exfoliating dead skin cells, leading to a cleansing of pores.
  
• Due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, retinol can help reduce acne and prevent new blemishes from forming.

The Retinol 0.5 Oil is enriched with moisturising and nourishing ingredients including squalane, which additionally shows significant antioxidant activity and soybean oil softens and nourishes the skin.

Please note that retinol can be irritating to the skin, especially at the beginning of use. It is advisable to introduce it gradually into the skincare regimen and to use UV sunscreens, as retinol can increase the skin's sensitivity to UV radiation. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using products containing retinol.

How to use:

Use as the last step in your skin care routine. Apply 1-3 drops to the skin, gently massage and pat in until fully absorbed.
