Intended use

How to use

Traditional brewing: add 1 small, level teaspoon of powder (approx. 2.5 g) to a small bowl or cup. Pour over 250 ml of hot water (approx. 70–80°C), not boiling – boiling water destroys the delicate nature of matcha. Whisk vigorously with an bamboo whisk in an M-shape until foam appears on the surface.

For baking: add 1–2 teaspoons of powder to cake batter, muffin mix or ice cream mixture – the green colour and grassy flavour are intense, and it is easy to measure out.

Storage

Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place, away from light. Once opened, it is recommended to store in an airtight container to preserve freshness and the green colour.
