Red Orange essential oil, like other extracts of this type, is distilled by cold-pressing the peels of the fruit - in this case the Citrus sinensis species. The name refers to the flesh, which has an intense red colour. This is due to anthocyanins - antioxidant substances found naturally in flowers and fruits (although very rarely in citrus). Red orange oil - properties

Red Orange essential oil contains in its composition mainly limonene - a chemical that is responsible not only for its properties, but also for its characteristic smell. The product exhibits antibacterial and antiseptic activity, inhibiting the growth of certain types of fungi and bacteria, protecting wounds from infection. It counteracts inflammation, which, as is well known, is an important element in the development of many diseases.
