Bilovit Coarse Pink Himalayan Salt is a product from the Bilovit own brand – carefully selected salt with a distinctive pink colour. The coarse-grained form is ideal for use in kitchen mills and for seasoning meat before roasting (coarse salt adheres better to the surface of the meat).
Himalayan salt is extracted from natural deposits – its pink colour comes from trace minerals of iron and other elements present in the salt. It has a more intense, slightly herbal flavour than classic white, non-iodised salt. Its versatility extends beyond the kitchen: coarse grains work well as a base for a kitchen scrub (vigorous exfoliation) and for salt baths.

Intended use
Table salt for a salt mill, for seasoning meat before roasting (coarse salt adheres better to the surface of the meat), oven-baked potatoes, coated steaks and roasted pumpkin. It also works well as a base for coarse-grained kitchen scrubs and for salt baths. Vegan.
Directions for use
For a salt mill: fill the salt mill and season to taste, taking into account the daily recommended salt intake. For meat before roasting: rub the coarsely ground salt into the surface of the steak 30–60 minutes before cooking. For a kitchen scrub: mix 2–3 tablespoons of coarse salt with 1 tablespoon of olive oil or honey. For a salt bath: 200–500 g per bath of warm water.
Precautions
The salt contains 98.7 g of sodium per 100 g of product – use in moderation, especially on low-salt diets (high blood pressure, kidney disease, heart problems). Recommended daily salt intake according to the WHO: max 5 g.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in a dry place. Protect from moisture.
