Bilovit Cold-pressed Pumpkin Seed Oil is 100% pumpkin seed oil (Cucurbita pepo) – unrefined, cold-pressed in a Polish oil mill.

Dark, greenish-brown colour and a characteristic sweetish, nutty flavour and aroma. The nutritional table is dominated by unsaturated fatty acids (81 g/100 g): polyunsaturated fatty acids 47 g/100 g (mainly linoleic acid, omega-6) and monounsaturated fatty acids 34 g/100 g (oleic acid).

Uses

Cooking oil for Asian cuisine – stir-fried noodles, chicken dishes, salads, dips. Salad dressing with rocket, tomatoes, addition to cream soups (pumpkin, cauliflower). Its distinctive flavour cuts through any note – sweet, salty, sour. Can be used in sweet cakes and desserts (sponge cakes). Not for frying. Vegan.

Directions for use

Dressing: 2 tablespoons of oil + 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar + honey + salt. Addition to cream soup: 1 tablespoon of oil per plate after serving. With a slice of fresh bread: 1 teaspoon of oil straight from the bottle – a classic in Slovak and Austrian cuisine. Directly from the teaspoon – 1–3 teaspoons a day.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from light. Once opened, use within a few months. Keep the bottle tightly closed.
