Anwen is a Polish hair care brand that has revolutionised how people approach hair health by introducing the concept of hair porosity to mainstream consumers. Founded on the principle that every hair type deserves personalised care, Anwen creates targeted products that address the specific needs of low, medium, and high porosity hair.
The Anwen Hair Porosity Method
What makes Anwen unique is their science-based approach to hair care. The brand educates consumers about hair porosity, the measure of how easily hair absorbs and retains moisture, and formulates products specifically for each porosity type. This targeted approach means that instead of one-size-fits-all solutions, users can select products that truly work with their hair's natural characteristics. Whether your hair is low porosity and prone to product buildup, high porosity and thirsty for moisture, or somewhere in between, Anwen has developed specific formulations to address your needs.
Anwen Products at Medpak
At Medpak, we offer Anwen's comprehensive hair care range organised by porosity. For high porosity hair, the Emollient Rose Conditioner and Protein Orchid Conditioner provide intense nourishment. Medium porosity hair benefits from the Emollient Iris Conditioner, while low porosity hair thrives with the Emollient Acacia Conditioner. The Moisturizing Elderflower Conditioner works across all porosity types.
Beyond conditioners, Anwen offers targeted treatments including the Wheat Germ & Cocoa High-Performance Mask, Coconut and Clay Low-Period Mask, and Color Cooling Mask for blonde hair. Hair oils are matched to porosity: Maracuja for high porosity and Mango for medium. The Happy Ends Serum protects delicate ends, while shampoos like Peach and Coriander address specific scalp needs. The innovative Peace of Mint Cube Shampoo offers an eco-friendly solid format.
